Sat-nav technology, which calculates driver speeds to sail through green traffic lights is to be trialled in Newcastle. PICTURED is professor of Intelligent Transport at Newcastle University, Phil Blythe. STORY about the revolutionary 10m Euro Compass4D project has been designed to take the frustration out of the rush hour commute by suggesting speeds for the driver to keep to. For example, it may suggest a driver to travel at 24 miles-an-hour, to ensure they hit the next four lights on green, which in turn will help reduce overall road congestion. A portrait of me on Werregarenstraat in Ghent. Belgium
For the past 10 years I've been a professional photographer. Working for high end clients: from bespoke manufacturers, to clothing designers, national newspapers and international publications.
I'm obsessive about photography. Getting things aesthetically pleasing as well as capturing the right moment. It's that combination that can often make the world of visual difference.
